A member of the Rotary Club of Glendale Sunrise since 1994, Keith is a past president and active in many of the club’s projects, including Not Even For A Minute (the dangers of leaving children unattended in and around vehicles). An organization is only as strong as its membership, and I plan to reach out to all of the residents of Glendale by finding a connection that will galvanize them into belonging to our organization.l, with her husband Arnie, own an independent backflow device testing company headquartered in Glendale. Lori Silao, Communications Director

Lori is a registered nurse and neonatal nurse practitioner by training, having recently completed her PhD in nursing education. She is full-time faculty at Azusa Pacific University teaching in the School of Nursing for both the undergraduate program and the RN to BSN program. Her teaching specialties are path physiology and nursing theory. She makes tough subjects come alive and applicable to everyday practice. Before nursing school, she originally thought she wanted to major in English as she has a love for writing, which came in handy for her dissertation, and now for the Glendale Rose Float Association. Family life is important and with a busy physician husband and two kids (one in high school, one in junior high), it is challenging to find balance and time for everyone. She loves dancing hula with her daughter for Halau Hula O’Kawahineali’inoho’ike’anuenue-elua (that’s a mouthful) and playing golf/bowling with the family as much as possible. She is very excited to be a part of the new Glendale Rose Float Association! All it takes is one person to create change!
